The Power Industry is one of the largest and essential industries globally. It’s an opportunity market which is emerging in some areas of the world. Gas turbines (GT) are one of the most widely-used powe generating technologies because of its relatively low delivery time and capex, when compared with other power generation methods like hydroelectric power plants. The use of Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) at the GT exhaust in a combined cycle configuration is giving very high efficiencies in power production.
However, in very hot areas, Gas Turbines power output and efficiency are reduced due to the high ambient temperatures. This drawback can be corrected with ARANER Turbine Inlet Air Cooling (TIAC) Technologies.
In addition, the ARANER TIAC may be used in combination with the ARANER TES TANK (Thermal Energy Storage) Technology which allows for a reduction in operation cost and refrigerant power plant capacity requirements. TESTIAC (Thermal Energy Storage for Turbine Inlet Air Cooling) is also advisable when Gas Turbine Inlet Air Cooling (GTIAC) systems are designed for power augmentation during peak demand.
